about the artist

For nearly a decade, Alicia Ross has been juxtaposing the fetishistic and conceptual into her own ideology of body and self. Trying to make sense of personal conflicts, rich in universal overtones, Ross employs whichever media those explorations demand ...photography...video...installation...fiber...etc...

Alicia has widely exhibited at the national level, has taught undergraduate/graduate courses in photography and video, and has instructed digital workshops. In addition, Ross has performed as an art gallery facilitator at galleries in both Ohio and New York. Alicia is looking forward to showing in New York City in an up-and-coming exhibition at the Black and White Gallery. Please check back for exhibition updates.
